Angoris Friulano from Colli Orientali del Friuli, Italy.
Tasting Notes: Straw yellow with hints of gold. Delicate florals, especially acacia, joined by peach, pear, and almond, with sage, thyme, ginger, and a creamy, mineral note. Soft, harmonious, and long, fleshy and textured, finishing slightly saline with bitter almond.
Fun Fact: Historically known as Tocai, Friulano is perhaps the grape variety that best represents Friuli — grown on Angoris's historical Stabili della Rocca cru, on ponca (eocenic marl) soil.
