Description
Angoris Pinot Grigio from Collio, Italy.
Tasting Notes: Straw yellow with copper hues. Dried flowers and dried apricots meet Kaiser pear, nutty notes, and candied orange, with a slightly smoky complexity. Rich, dense, and textured on the palate — full, silky, and slightly tannic, long and expressive with a hint of bitterness.
Fun Fact: Grown in the "Ronco Antico" cru, a natural amphitheater of hills protected by the Plessiva nature reserve, on the same ponca (eocenic marl) soil found throughout Collio.
