Description
Beaucanon Estate Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley, California.
Tasting Notes: Deep ruby and nearly opaque, with a fruit-forward, generous bouquet of plum, red cherry, blackberry, cassis, bittersweet chocolate, and sweet tobacco spice. Brightly lit across the palate with red-fruited flavors of cherry, plum, raspberry, and currant, finishing tart with grainy tannins and a persistent note of tobacco leaf.
Fun Fact: Beaucanon Estate sits on Napa Valley's historic Longwood Ranch, founded in 1978 when Jacques de Coninck came from Bordeaux — his family's Château Canon in St. Émilion gave the estate its name — bringing over 260 years of Bordelaise winemaking experience to Napa.
