Description
Belasco Malbec, Swinto, from Agrelo, Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza, Argentina.
Tasting Notes: A brilliant deep garnet color. Complex, darkly fruity and earthy on the nose, with a luscious palate of ripe red stone fruits and jams accented with spicy, toasty notes — generously flavorful, dense, and unfiltered, balancing Malbec's robust character with silky elegance.
Fun Fact: Swinto means "Crow" in the language of the Huarpe people, the original inhabitants of the Mendoza river valley. This wine is made from Belasco's oldest vines — over 114 years old — meticulously selected and aged 15 months in new French oak.
