Description
Costa di Bussia "Luigi Arnulfo" Barolo, Bussia (3L), from Piedmont, Italy.
Tasting Notes: Recognizable hints of tobacco and ripe fruits on the nose, with sensations of sweet and silky tannins on the palate. Great persistence — a wine that perfectly expresses the typical character of Barolo from the Bussia hill.
Fun Fact: A tribute to founder Luigi Arnulfo, who acquired the property in 1874 and was among the first to export Barolo to the United States, sending a shipment to San Francisco importer Carlo Rossi in 1883. Large-format bottles like this one age slower, giving the wine an even longer life.
