Tasting Notes: The domaine's flagship Saint-Joseph, with a flattering nose of blackberries mixed with other black and red fruits. The palate opens silky, with spice notes typical of Syrah, closing on a long, subtly balanced finish and graphite notes that will age harmoniously.
Fun Fact: Grown on decomposed quartz-granite soil from vines averaging 25 years old. Robert Parker once called François Villard one of the "stars" of the Northern Rhône — a former chef whose Reflet and Côte-Rôtie La Brocarde are considered among the region's greatest successes.
