Tasting Note: Aromas of ripe cherries, wild strawberries, black raspberries, white pepper, and stony earthiness. The palate is juicy with flavors of blackberry and plum, baking spices, and black tea. 

Fun Fact: Sablet takes its name from "sable" — French for sand — a nod to the village's distinctive sandy soils. Reds from Sablet tend toward a marked purity and underlying finesse, thanks to those sandy soils and whole-bunch, destemmed fermentation practiced at Domaine Piaugier.
