Tasting Notes: A deep-purple, intensely aromatic Cabernet with ripe plums, blackberries, cassis, hints of violets, toasted rosemary, and dark chocolate on the nose. Well-integrated fruit carries through to a balanced palate with ample, supple tannins and a long, polished finish.
Fun Fact: Founded in 2000 by Robert "Bob" Pepi. After selling his namesake Robert Pepi Winery in 1994, Bob reclaimed his identity by naming his new label "Eponymous" — literally, "one for whom something is named." The 2023 vintage draws primarily from Yountville, Oak Knoll District, and Howell Mountain, aged 16 months in 100% French oak.
