Fun Fact: Doyle Hinman founded Hinman Vineyards in 1979 as Eugene's first bonded winery, releasing Pinot Noir among his very first vintages. The estate changed hands and names for over 30 years — most recently as Silvan Ridge Winery — before the Hinman family reacquired the property and revived the original Hinman Vineyards name.
