Tasting Notes: Mainly Grenache and Counoise, rounded out with Mencia and Carignan. Bursting with fresh cherries, pomegranate, and rhubarb, with a layer of toasty aromas — bright and versatile, drink chilled for crisp refreshment or at room temperature for warm, spiced undertones.
Fun Fact: Made using carbonic maceration — the same whole-berry fermentation technique used for Beaujolais Nouveau — this wine is inspired by old-school California field blends and designed as a year-round "chillable red." Counoise itself is a rare grape in Napa, more commonly found as one of the varieties permitted in Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
